The unit, which raised over $168 million in 2023, became the Investment Migration Agency of Grenada in a ceremony on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. “The current brand mark has inherent limitations in terms of how it may be used for different merchandise,” Anthony added. He noted that the Coat of Arms “does not stand out compared to competing countries in the region.”
Unlocking the possibilities” is the slogan while the logo features nutmeg. Grenada is known as the Spice Island. Nutmeg is one of Grenada’s major exports and this spice already appears on Grenada's flag.
Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell's Opinion
Dickon Mitchell used the ceremony as a platform to change the perspective of the Citizenship by Investment Program within the country.
“We see the migration investment industry as any other financial services industry available to humanity to maximize the benefit of being a global citizen,” asserted Mitchell.
“If we do not have local support for the migration industry and the benefits this country has obtained as a result of having this program, then it becomes much more difficult to defend.”
